Judges will consider entries based on:
- Expression of the River Life theme
- Adherence to contest rules
- Basic photography technical practices (focus, exposure, lighting, white balance, composition)
- Wow! Factor
- Commercial/editorial quality
- Inspirational merit
- Artistic expression
- Authenticity
