This is a picture of my 17-year-old daughter, Christan Wyatt. She is a second-year raft guide. I grew up on the New River. I learned to swim in it and have had many family adventures camping beside it. To see my daughter embrace the same love that I have for it makes it full circle of being a boater. she guides class 1-3 rapids now but trained this past spring to guide class 3-5+. She will be 18 years old when season 2024 starts. She will be fully prepared for her check out run and become an advanced commercial raft guide. This picture is her senior picture.
