This photo encapsulates so many emotions. So many of the people in a river trip start as strangers and then become part of your river family. After a day of facing the challenges of the river our new village comes together to celebrate our accomplishments. We let loose and reflect on the amazing natural world around us. The people in this photo may come and go from my life, but this moment we shared together. The river is about community and natural joy and this picture captures that.
