- "(Accidentally submitted the incorrect photo in my #3 submission, this is the correct photo from the sequence-sorry for the confusion) Since the 2023 blowouts, the upper Middle Fork has been rewriting its own lines. This year, a new right channel opened around the mid-river boulder. At 2.5 feet, it made for a tricky, thrilling move — but this crew nailed it, holding tight, threading the needle, and and came out grinning."

- "Jeremiah pictured rowing truly envisioned one who loved and found joy on the river. He loved to share the river experience introducing many including myself to whitewater rafting. He would plan trips every year and always embodied an ethos that there was always enough to have one more friend or family along on the adventure or at his table. Jeremiah passed away unexpectedly earlier this summer. I feel fortunate to had two spring trips with him prior. I will never forget all he share with me and how most importantly how he shared his love of the river."

- "On the last day of summer before she starts kindergarten, Olive unwinds with family at her favorite summer spot: the river. Exploring, swimming, catching insects and toads, and running whitewater….it doesn’t get any better. It’s a place she feels completely free to be a kid and enjoy life to it’s fullest. Wherever Olive goes, her younger brother, Waylon, is close behind."

- "My love of the Lochsa runs deep. At all flows, not just the highwater flows that this free-flowing river is known for. But the low water flows too. When the water drops and the crowds thin you can see the bones of this beautiful river system. What makes the giant waves that we all known and love. It's worth paddling at every flow to understand the little nuances and get a deeper appreciation for the river as a whole. Here guides scout Horsetail Falls, which has the steepest gradient drop on the river."

- "I woke up at four in the morning and drove four hours into Montana because I was told a one of my friends was running a super cool waterfall, and I knew I couldn’t miss out. This photo is of one of the people I met at the put in doing some scouting, who ended up becoming one of my friends. This photo is important to me because it reminds me of the connections and community around every river."

- "My husband, Dan, grew up rafting in Montana & it's always been his happy place. This summer was extra special-our first family rafting trip on the Middle Fork of the Flathead, with our boys & our dog, Sully, along for the ride. What started as a July 4th tradition with Dan's sister & her family back in 2010 has now come full circle. There's truly no better feeling than being on the river together-sun shining, water rolling, & hearts full."

- "This was the kind of evening that makes you forget what day it is. We’d spent hours rowing, laughing, and getting beat up by the wind, and by sunset it all felt worth it. The river had gone calm, the colors were unreal, and I couldn’t help but stop and take it in. Moments like this remind me how lucky we are to live days ruled by the sun, the current, and good company."

This summer, we finally made our dream trip come true and ran the Main Salmon. She was so excited to share a huge part of her life and I found a new passion that will continue for years to come."

- "After dinner, we hiked upriver for a while, just following the bank to see what was around the next bend. No plan, no rush—just walking and talking. On the way back, camp started to come into view and the light got soft over the water. I stopped for a second and snapped this shot while he picked his way over the rocks, both of us ready to sit down with the rest of the group and call it a day."
