- "My brother and I went fishing with Shane Ramasco on the Payette to celebrate our birthdays. The day started with 0% chance of rain. We completed the Payette River slam, catching the three main fish species. After lunch, the heavens opened with an added display of lightning and thunder. Our rain gear was useless in the truck. It was a day we won’t soon forget and a great way to celebrate another trip around the sun."

- "Trying to give the people a show during Lochsa Madness, I plunged from a boat that was in mid flip. I love the picture showing the weightlessness of flight while an absolute thrashing behind of the raft and other riders in the boat. Lochsa Falls always packs a punch and this photo shows that!!"

- "The river that my friends and I guide on is often running at 200 cfs or less when we take guests downstream. So when one of us got lucky enough to draw a Grand Canyon permit for the month of August, we were excited to see what 16,000 cfs would feel like for the first time. However, I don’t think any of us were expecting the 16ft boat to disappear under the water in nearly every class 7+ rapid. The best 16 days of whitewater ever."

- "A splashy time running Basalt Rapid on the Colorado River. This was my first multi-day trip on a high volume Western River. I absolutely fell in love with rowing through the big wave trains and squirrely flat water in the Big Ditch."

- "My first attempt at a Milky Way photo that almost didn't happen. It was cloudy most of our trip and even at sunset this evening it didn't look like the starts would come out. Every morning I set me alarm for 4am, and finally was rewarded with the stars I dreamed of!"

- "Growing up I was a river guide in Oregon. Towards the end of this career I started pursuing photography and I always wanted to make this exact image. Seven or so years later I had the opportunity to go down the Grand Canyon with my good friend Laura Campbell (GC river guide rowing the boat). I told her I wanted to make this image and she was game. Next thing you know im sitting low in the front of the boat and I tell Laura to SMASH this next wave. A wall of water comes over the top of me. We get this image. My camera died. Too stoked to care."
