One of my favorite hikes in Hell’s is a steep winding scrabble up to a very special spot. A little basalt archway provides a perfect frame of camp below and a sweeping view of the Suicide Point bend. It’s one of the best camps on day two, with pools in the creek, a close to boats kitchen, this hike and the one across the river.
